25 Days of Christmas: Day 1

Day 1: Tin Magnetic Calendars -
These calendars are fun and easy to make, and would make a great gift for someone on your list. You can change it out for each month, since it is just magnets holding the calendar portion to the tin.

All you need is the colored tin sheet that we sell here at Crafts Direct for only $11.99, a sheet of 12x12 paper, we used a decorative print for December with a calendar acetate layover and for January we used a calendar printed sheet. We also used American Crafts Thickers for the month & some of the numbers and just added magnets to the the back. Then just take random left over embellishments you may have or buy some and turn them into magnets so you have one for each day of the month.

To give you some ideas we used buttons, Dress - It Up Glitter Dots from Jesse James, dimensional stickers, colored magnet buttons embellished with a painty pen, Flair from American Crafts, paper which was mod podged to the back of a marble, punch circles of paper out and adhere to key tags and added a rub-on. The possibilities are endless. Just have fun with it.
