Staff member Erica created this tutorial for a Glossy Accents Pendant project. Although there are many other ways to create a pendant such as with a glass tile, wood tile or bottle cap, this method seems to be the easiest and cost effective.

Image Transfer Tutorial

There are a lot of different methods for doing Image Transfers. Today we are going to show you how to do a transfer using the Liquitex Gel Medium. Staff member, Erica, created these easy instructions with photographs to walk you through the process step by step.

Click image to enlarge the above instructions.

Below is a sample of how the Image Transfer looks when done on a 5x5 Wood Tile using the Liquitex Gel Medium.

Please remember, you must use a Laser copied image, an Inkjet printed image will NOT WORK!

What's New in the Quilt Shop?

We have expanded our extra wide backing fabrics.  We now have 24 feet of 108” wide quilt backing.  No more piecing backs.  With a wide variety of color and a wide variety of prints in the basic colors, we how you will be able to find the perfect backing for your quilt.

7 ½ to 9 yards of backing for a queen size quilt could cost as much as $100-$120.  Use 2 ½ to 3 yards of 108” wide backing and your cost is $50-$60…that’s half the cost!  So come in and check out our expanded selection!
