What's New in the Quilt Shop?


We have expanded our extra wide backing fabrics.  We now have 24 feet of 108” wide quilt backing.  No more piecing backs.  With a wide variety of color and a wide variety of prints in the basic colors, we how you will be able to find the perfect backing for your quilt.
 
7 ½ to 9 yards of backing for a queen size quilt could cost as much as $100-$120.  Use 2 ½ to 3 yards of 108” wide backing and your cost is $50-$60…that’s half the cost!  So come in and check out our expanded selection!













New from Plum Easy, Folded Star Hot Pad with Custom Interfacing Template.  Our associate Mary, made this beautiful Hot Pad using this pattern.  Something that looks very intricate is actually super easy.  Just a piece of interfacing, strategically stacking some prairie points, sew it all together and voila! unique and sturdy hot pads are a perfect gift!

Piper & Pete

We ordered these super cute patterns at International Quilt Market.  They come all the way from Australia.  Cathy sewed up these adorable little penguins, Piper and Pete.  There are also little deer, ducks, even a little helicopter and airplane.  There are a dozen patterns from Melly & Me, so grab a fat quarter or a little cuddle fleece and create one of your own!
