July & August Calendar of Events

We have posted our Calendar of Events for July and August you can check out what classes we are offering here.
For July we have added Cake Course 2, Quilting 101 (which we are very excited about), Knitting
for Kids and Happily Ever After: Boutonniere & Corsage class.
As for August we have added Happily Ever After: Bridal Bouquet & Tutoring on Thursday's for the quilters, a great time to get out of the heat and get some quilting projects completed. Checkout the calendar, scroll down to Tutoring on Thursday's, click more details for more information. We will be adding a Friday Night Scrap along with a All Day Scrap in August very soon.
We still have openings in some of our June classes, such as Quilt Venture, Kids Craft Class: Bug Box, and our scrap night/day's. If there is a class you don't see offered feel free to contact Kristines@craftsdirect.com to suggest a class.

Classes Classes and more Classes!

There are still openings in some of our February classes and we have added some classes to our March Calendar. Including some Happily Ever After classes for brides to be and a Flower & Cake Design class, the next course after basic cake decorating. Soon we will be posting our demo's and make & takes that we will also be holding in March for National Craft Month (NCM). The necklace pictured on the right is the Rosemaling project for this months class. Isn't it beautiful?



We hope to have April's calendar up soon, but will tell you the dates for our Card Chaos classes. They will be held on Tuesday's April 12th and April 19th from 6pm to 8:30pm. We are trying something new, we are offering a daytime card class on April 19th from 2pm to 4:30pm. This will hopefully allow more people to get into the class since it is a popular one.

March Calendar of Classes

It's hard to believe we are already into the first week of March. One week of classes is done, but we have a full month of classes so there are many more you can take part in. Check out the calendar here. This month mini book class is so adorable and is perfect for spring or Easter photos. It was created using the Hippity Hoppity Line from We R Memory Keepers. Calling all Brides to Be... our Happily Ever After classes have gone over so well that we have set up a Happily Ever After Workshop for Sunday March 28th. This is a day for you to bring in all your supplies to make your bouquets, corsages, & boutonnieres. Heather will be available to guide you through the steps of putting it all together. Check out the calendar for more details. There are many other classes we are offering so stop in or look online we would love to have you join us.

Januray 2010 Events Calendar

The January calendar is now on our website. We are offering many classes this January. We are also offering the the Happily Ever After (HEA) classes again, for all you brides to be. As for the Knitting 201 and the Sock-it-to-me (knitting class) we have changed out the projects with different patterns and yarn. Mini Book Club for January is adorable, as it is a recipe book made from a Kaiser album and Cosmo Cricket's Early Bird Line. I will definitely be taking that class.

Season has created some new pieces for each of the beading classes, that include wire wrapping. Cricut Classes are returning, as well and always seem to be popular after the Holidays, along with Scrap Days & Nights.

Crochet 101 is still being offered, and our Crochet Night will start up again, being held on each Tuesday night from 6pm to 9pm at Meeting Grounds Coffee Shop located in the front corner of our store. Sit & Knit is held on Thursday Nights each week at the coffee shop as well.

Oh I almost forgot... Card Chaos is back on the calendar as Sarah Lynn needed a break from all the card classes we offered in November. She is well rested and has some cute card ideas for January. We hope to see you in one of our many classes.

Happily Ever After Series!

This is a series of classes we are offering for all brides to be. We are offering 5 different classes in this series that will be offered Sunday afternoons throughout the month of March. You are welcome to sign up for one class or all five. The 5 classes are Ribbon/Bow, Boutonniere & Corsage, Wedding Favor/Invite, Bridal Bouquet, and a Centerpiece Class. These classes will inspire Brides to add their own personal touch to make their wedding day more memorable.
