New Products: Jar Embellishments.
I shared a little sneak peek of these new items over on Instagram last week - but in case you missed that wanted to share them here as well - and show a little more of the new items we now have available to dress up all your jar projects!
The first line is from Hampton Arts and is called Jar Jewelry - the pieces in the line range greatly - from metal jar lids, to pin cushions, to labels and other embellishments. The decorated lids are really great - and have a wide variety of designs with just this item!
We also have some new pieces from the Transform Mason line - the photo showing just a few - but include stencils, paint, etching cream, wood labels, and jar toppers for yarn and flower arranging.
You can find all of these pieces, along with the other components of the lines - in aisle 21.

Now onto today's projects.
Washi Tape Jar - a couple pieces to the top of a jar, on a tag and some twine and you have a great container for your desk, a treat or to use for gifting:
Want to add a little color to your light switch plate? Why not add some Washi Tape and create this Washi Light Switch Cover:
You can also create a Washi Tape Paint Can very easily:
And finally, how fun and colorful is this Washi Tape Tumbler? Definitely one of my favorites of the week!

Project Ideas: Mason Jars
I know we've shared a lot of project ideas in the past using Mason Jars - but today I have a couple new ideas you are going to LOVE.
First up are these Mason Jar Tumblers we created by adding chalkboard vinyl to the front of the jars, pattern paper to the lids and punching holes (and adding grommets) for a perfect fit for a fun paper straw. You can find a project sheet for these jars HERE.
We also now have jars available with pumps (in white, black, and cream) which can be used for soap, lotion, or even ketchup or mustard for your next get together - (or summer bbq if summer ever arrives here in Minnesota :) For these jars we painted them to show you how they would look if filled but the best part is how much a little key tag and gingham ribbon add to the piece. I think these jars are awesome!

If you are a fan of our Redneck Wine Glasses today I have some very fun new products to share that you are going to love!!
We've expanded our line of Redneck products considerably and now definitely have something for everyone. You can find all of our Redneck items on display by the Coffee Shop at the front of the store.

Not only do we have them available pre-made with the tags attached, but if you would rather put them together yourself we do offer the pieces individually as well so you can create any Redneck piece you would like!

25 Days of Christmas 2011: Day 21
Day 21: Snowman Hot Chocolate Jar
If you still need a quick and easy gift idea for a neighbor, teacher, or friend - today I have the perfect idea for you! Using our handled jars, some hot chocolate, mints and marshmallows we created this cute gift jar. It is also really easy to dress it up - using Wilton pens we added snowman faces to the marshmallows and then simply added a small whisk and tag using ribbon as a finishing touch. It was a very fun and easy project to create and I love the end result!

25 Days of Christmas 2011: Day 15
Day 15: Joy Candlestick Jars
One of my favorite projects lately are these candlestick jars. We had created a set for Halloween- which I loved - but now I think the JOY candlestick jars might be my new favorite. All you need for this project is a few wood pieces (the snowflake for the base, the candlesticks, and dowels for the top), the jars and the vinyl letters. Filled up with some Christmas treats - they make a great addition to your Christmas decor or would be a fun gift idea as well! You can find the complete instructions and supply list for this project HERE.

25 Days of Christmas 2011: Day 7
Day 7: Santa Jar & Clear Tube
Today I have two Santa themed projects to share with you. First up is this Santa Jar. For this project we just used Mod Podge to adhere squares of red tissue paper to the outside of a standard jar and then added the belt (which you can find in aisle 19). This would look really cute filled with flowers or a holiday arrangement or also just filled up with some Christmas treats.
The second project is one of our clear tubes decorated to look like a Santa belt with some simple felt and a chenille stem. Filled up with candy this is a perfect stocking stuffer or small gift for someone on your list! A project sheet for the Santa Belt tube can be found HERE.
