25 Days of Christmas: Day 2

Day 2: Christmas Wishes Paint Can

Today we have a quick and easy project to share that would be perfect for a teacher, neighbor, or anyone that you would like to send some Christmas Wishes! For this project we filled up the paint can with some of the white Sixlet Gumballs and embellished the outside with some paper, ribbon, a berry spray and of course the very fitting "Blowing Christmas Wishes Your Way" vinyl. You can find detailed project instructions for the paint can HERE.

Project Ideas: Paint Cans

The Paint Cans we carry in our Paints & Basics department can be used in so many ways - and embellished and decorated in even more!

Today I wanted to share a couple of the awesome new samples that our designer Melissa created using the Paint Cans and hopefully share some inspiration for your next creative project as well!

First, the Bingo Bucket! I love this project - perfect for the bingo player in your life - carry in all your bingo supplies in this fun bucket, or even use it to hold the supplies for your own bingo game at home. So great! And all you need to create this project is a bucket, letter stickers, bingo sheets, and some adhesive. For the complete instructions click here: Bingo Bucket.

Next, how fun is this Cowboy Themed Bucket?! This would be a great way to wrap up a gift for a cowboy (or cowgirl) you know - and would also make for great party decorations for your next bbq or country themed party.

For a recent grad, or someone starting a new job or adventure - this Dream Big paint can would be perfect. We added chalkboard paint to the lid to add a personalized message and the "Dream Big" is a vinyl saying that we applied to the outside of the bucket.

And finally, this Sparkle Paint Can was created using shapes punched from tissue paper and Sparkle Mod Podge. Such a bright, fun project and really who doesn't love a little extra Sparkle now and then!

Washi Week: Friday.

Happy Friday!

And welcome to our last day of Washi Week projects. I hope you have enjoyed all of the Washi Tape projects we have shared this week! Of course we will continue to create fun new samples using Washi Tape so be sure to follow us on Pinterest or check out our Project section on our website for any new projects.

In addition we also have a Washi Tape Pinterest board for additional ideas on how to use Washi Tape we find online - which you can find here.

Now onto today's projects.

Washi Tape Jar - a couple pieces to the top of a jar, on a tag and some twine and you have a great container for your desk, a treat or to use for gifting:

Want to add a little color to your light switch plate? Why not add some Washi Tape and create this Washi Light Switch Cover:

You can also create a Washi Tape Paint Can very easily:

And finally, how fun and colorful is this Washi Tape Tumbler? Definitely one of my favorites of the week!

Creepy Crafts - Day 29.

Today I have two different projects to share with you that both use our "Spooky" vinyl word. The first is a paint can that was simply filled with a piece of pattern paper, then embellished with the vinyl, rhinestones and a spider. The second project is also a very easy one! For this project we just applied the vinyl to the center of a white plate and then added orange rhinestones around the outside of the circle. This would be great as a display piece or to use when you serve some Halloween treats!

Creepy Crafts - Day 8.

Today's Creepy Craft is not only creepy and cute, but also edible and a perfect gift idea too! For this project we filled up one of our larger paint cans (although any size would work), added vinyl to the front of the paint for the ghost's face, covered the pail with cheese cloth and then added a little black ribbon to the pail handle. Very simple and easy to create - and the finished product is so fun!

Saturday Events.

In honor of our 22nd Anniversary Celebration, this month we are offering free Make & Takes and product samples each Saturday from 1-3pm. This Saturday (Sept. 22nd) we will have two fun projects for you to create!!

The first project that we will be offering is this Halloween Decorated Frame. You will be adding pattern paper and a candy corn embellishment to one of our magnetic wood frames - perfect for displaying a favorite Halloween photo from a past year or to have ready for this years shot.

The second Make & Take is this Decorated Paint Can. The general fall theme of this project makes it perfect to use anytime throughout the fall season - and would be great as a decor piece, to fill with treats, or use to deliver a little gratitude gift to yourself or a favorite person.

We would love to have you join us and hope to see you here from 1-3pm on Saturday!!
