Stamp of the Month - April

Below you will find the Great Impressions Stamp of the Month products for April. This month the stamps theme is all about Spring. Spring flowers, cute animals with flowers and the sentiment stamps are about friendships!

 This month the coordinating stamps are in the price range of $4.99 to $12.99. The Stamp of the Month is "Hydrangeas" which is on a sale price of $10.12.

These are all individually sold wood mounted stamps available in aisle 10 of the 

Paper Crafts Department. We have the card sample board shown above in our stamping aisle to view as well. 

A printed project sheet with full instructions on how to create each card is available both in our store as well as online to print.

358 Copic Markers!

I have some exciting news to share with all of you Copic Marker fans out there today!!

Yesterday we put out our new Copic Marker display....and now carry the entire line of colors available in Copic Markers. That's 358 different colors! You can find them is aisle 11 of our Paper Crafts Department.

Unity Stamp Co. Make & Take

Join us this Saturday(Sept. 25th), along with Angela from Unity Stamp Co.. She will be at Crafts Direct from 11am to 1pm offering a make & take of this adorable card, at the Paper Crafts Demo Counter. Feel free to stop in, say hi and make this card. We hope to see you!

Stamping Demo and More!

If you are looking for something to do this Saturday, you should stop by Crafts Direct any time between 11am to 4pm. Bonnie Warner from Stamping To See You is coming to demonstrate and do some make & takes on an array of products including Radiant Rain, Twinkling H20's, Art institute Glitters, Cuttlebug, and some of the Clear Scrap's line. If you are able to make it in stop by the Paper Crafts Demo Counter to see all the fabulous techniques and ideas she has to offer!

Stamp & Wrap

I was so busy yesterday getting ready for our All Day Scrap this Saturday that I completely forgot to blog!! I can't believe it, but I am back and ready for today's project. I always find myself at home, last minute of course, trying to throw a present together for a birthday or something of the sort, and I NEVER have wrapping paper. I don't buy wrapping paper unless it is Christmas and I think gift bags just aren't as entertaining for people to rip open. So I was thinking it might be fun just to create our own wrapping paper from things you might have around your house. I started with basic brown craft paper that you normally use for mailing packages. You can also use plain colored paper, tissue paper, etc. Now you can put to use some of those stamps that you have around your house that you use for scrapbooking or decorating and embellish your paper using paint and ink. Here we used Ceramcoat acrylic paint and distress ink. Now you have custom wrapping paper! (Sounds fancy doesn't it) You can even top it all off with a bow made from left over yarn scraps from your last knitting project. Even if these aren't supplies that you already have at your house it ends up saving you money on gift wrap! I love it and I hope you do too. Just a reminder, don't forget to come in and check out our Crafting Contest, the entries are all so amazing, the race for the winner is getting heated. A lot of the categories are REALLY close. Also if you come in and vote your name will be put in the drawing for 10/ $10.00 gift cards, you can enter once a day until Friday the 23rd.
