Photo Sleeve Fuse Tool by We R Memory Keepers

Do you have the Photo Sleeve Fuse Tool by We R Memory Keepers yet?  Why is this a must-have tool to have in your craft supply you ask? This is a heat tool that easily allows the user to create their own custom pockets and sleeves for use in sealing keepsakes, craft embellishments and party decorations. This is certainly a must-have tool for those who do the Pocket Style/Project Life scrapbooking! I've seen luggage tags, bookmarks and even cupcake toppers created with this tool.

Take a look below at our store samples using the Photo Sleeve Fuse Tool, these projects are displayed in our store as well!

We've started a Pinterest Board full of Photo Sleeve Fuse inspiration for using this amazing tool.

My favorite project using the Fuse Tool I've seen on the internet thus far, the Celebration Cupcake Pick. This video is from the We R Memory Keepers Blog Hostess, Aly Dosdall.

There are so many different ways you can customize this project depending on the kind of event you are celebrating. It certainly looks easy enough and I'm sure all of your friends will be impressed with the time you took to put your own personalized touch into the special occasion.

What projects have you created with the Fuse? We want to see them! Upload your pictures to any of our Social Media Outlets with the hashtag #CraftsDirectDIY and we may feature your project online or in our store!

Layout Samples: Project Life.

I'm so excited to share today's post with you!!

A couple weeks ago we welcomed the arrival of Project Life to our shelves and with it opened the door for this great new system of scrapbooking with all of you. Even though this really is a simple and easy way to get photos and memories down into a scrapbook, I know that sometimes it is hard to envision the actual product in use by just looking at the product itself.

There is of course lots of great Project Life inspiration available all over the internet - but we also wanted to share some layouts from designers right here at Crafts Direct too. You will be able to find these layouts displayed in-store with our Project Life products if you want to take a closer look.

Also we will be offering a FREE demo/project life layout on Saturday July 20th from 1-3pm at our Paper Crafts demo counter to help get you started on using Project Life! Each participant will receive one Project Life page protector as well as a few cards to place in the pockets of the page. You can then finish the layout by adding your own photos and embellishments. I will be posting more information about the demo next week!

Now onto our Project Life layouts:

Heather created a layout using the Midnight Edition to document the week of June 8-14:

Heather also created this single page spread about a camping trip - this is a great example of how you can always just incorporate pieces of Project Life into your regular scrapbooking album if you don't want to use it for all your photos:

Kristine created a layout using the Kraft Edition kit about a week spent in Mexico:

Melissa also used the Midnight Edition to create a layout about a getaway to Stillwater:

I also jumped in on the fun (I'm a huge fan of Project Life!) and created a layout using the Kraft Edition about a regular summer week for our family:

And last, but certainly not least!, Sarah Lynn created a layout using the Kraft Edition about a trip to Utah:

I hope you all find inspiration through these layouts and join us to learn more about Project Life on July 20th!

Project Life!

You probably saw our posts at the end of last week on Facebook and Instagram, announcing that Project Life has arrived in store. Today I wanted to share a few more photos of the line and what is available here on the blog too.

First, if you don't know about Project Life or want to learn more - the creator of the line Becky Higgins has a great product video on her website HERE.

You can find the Project Life products here at Crafts Direct in aisle 10. We have core kits for all seven of the lines available: Jade, Rain, Kraft, Cinnamon, Honey, Midnight, and Blush. These lines also have coordinating albums, album dividers, 12x12 paper packs, and 3x4" & 4x6" cardstock card.

To use in the albums we have six types of page protectors available - the set of 3 big envelopes, the small variety pack, and packages of Designs A, C, D & F.

If you looking for a smaller album/project - project life also comes as Mini Kits. We have four colors of the Mini Albums and all six of the Mini Kits. They come in the following styles: Baby Him, Baby Her, Holiday, Seasons, Wedding, and Childhood.

Finally, we also have the set of 3 Project Life pens - that are perfect for journaling in your albums too!

Next week we will be sharing some layouts using the Project Life products from 5 different designers - so be sure to check back for some fun inspiration!
