Knitting 101

Learn the basics of knitting and finish your very own dishcloth. This class will teach the knit-stitch. All materials are provided.
This is a two-session class: October 1st & 8th

 Course 3: Gumpaste & Fondant


(4 classes in the course)  Mindy will lead you every step of the way as you create amazing hand shaped flowers, beautiful borders and bold accents using these easy-to-shape icings. As you learn these techniques such as – an artful bow, mum, rose, carnation, calla lily, rosebud, daisy, and embellished borders and more, you’ll gain confidence as you decorate with gum paste and fondant. This will enable you to create cakes that will add excitement to your family celebrations for years to come.
Class will be held: October 6th, 13th, 20th & 27th from 6:00 - 8:00pm

Friday Night Scrap

Six full hours of scrapbooking fun!  Snacks will be provided, along with great prizes. A Cricut will be available to use.

Tall Cake Class

Marcia will teach you how to assemble a tiered cake. You will, also, learn some unique borders, swags and some new flowers, which include an orchid. This one will be another fun one! Fee does not include supplies. Supply list available at the time of registration.

Quilt Venture

Create an awesome Autumn Leaf/Turkey table runner! It will add wonderful warm fall colors to the autumn air that is just around the corner.

Ruffle Scarf Class-for Knitters (1 of 2)

Did you ever wonder how to make these fun ruffle scarfs? If so, you are not alone. Requested by many we have added this ruffle scarf class. Laura will walk you through the steps of casting on, knitting your very own ruffle scarf and casting off to finish it. This is a two session class. & will be held October 23rd & 30th. 25 Days of Christmas: Day 4

Day 4: Curly Geo Mesh Wreath

Of course you've seen our Geo Mesh Wreaths before - but have you seen this new version we have been creating? This new curly style is very popular and is a great way to use Geo Mesh in a new way - of course you can stick to the standard wreath ideas too (we have lots of ideas for them HERE and HERE) - but if you want to give the Curly Wreath a try you can find project instructions on our website by clicking the project name below.

25 Days of Christmas 2012: Day 4

Day 4: Geomesh Snowmen

Today I have two versions of a Geomesh Snowman to share with you. Either one would be cute as a wall decor piece or would also be perfect for a front door. To create we simply created these "wreaths' with white Geomesh and then decorated with additional embellishments to created the eyes, nose, mouth, and ear muffs. For the larger snowman we just added a second circle wreath to the bottom for the body. You can view the samples of these project and find all the supplies to make your own in our Seasonal Department.
