Quilt Shop Ornaments.
Yesterday I shared some photos of ornaments and holiday decorations that our Paper Crafts department had created, and today I wanted to share a few ideas from our Fabrics Department.
First up this Burlap and Button Garland:
They also created button filled ornaments - very cute and easy to fill with buttons to match any color scheme:
Love these Frilly Ball ornaments:
And quilted ball ornaments that are no-sew - just tucking pieces of fabric into a Styrofoam ball:
And finally a quilted star ornament in a little sewing hoop:
You can find project sheets with instructions on each of these projects on our website HERE.

Doodlebug Ornaments.
I wanted to share a quick post this afternoon and show you the ornaments that our Paper Crafts Department had created for a little tree they have displayed in their department. All of the ornaments were created with Doodlebug Designs paper and embellishments- and a few with additional supplies of disc ornaments, punches, filler, etc. The end results are so cute...and you get to play with fun scrapbooking supplies to create them too!

Creepy Crafts - Day 27.
Today I want to share with you a few examples of ways you can decorate some of our glass disc ornaments for Halloween. For these particular samples we used combinations of stickers, vinyl, paper, and glitter. Of course you can also use a favorite Halloween photo, fill them with candy or use any other Halloween papers, embellishments, stickers, etc. to decorate.

25 Days of Christmas 2011: Day 20
Day 20: Felt Ornaments
Today's project is two different styles of felt ornaments that would be a lovely addition to anyone's tree - or could be used as part of a gift wrapping or even a gift in itself!
The first version are the Felt Mitten Ornaments - a project sheet for them can be found HERE.
Or following the same general idea you can make the Felt Light Bulb Ornaments. A project sheet for the Light Bulb version can be found HERE.

25 Days of Christmas 2011: Day 13
Day 13: Felt Ornament Frames
If you need a quick and easy Christmas decoration or gift, these felt ornament frames are the perfect project. They come in the shapes and sizes you see, with openings already cut for the photos and ribbon for hanging - all you need to do is add your favorite photo and embellish in any way you want. For these samples I just used a few pieces of pattern paper and some scrapbooking embellishments.
These would also be a great craft idea for the kids to work on themselves - some stickers or fun kid craft supplies would work great to decorate them up as well!

25 Days of Christmas 2011: Day 9
Day 9: Clothespins
Today I wanted to share a few fun ideas of things you can create using our wood clothespin and doll pins for the holidays.
First, is this Clothespin Nativity Set. Such a quick and easy craft. It would be a perfect project idea for a group to work on! A project sheet for this project can be found HERE.
Sarah also created this adorable nativity ornament using Doll Pins. A project sheet for the ornament can be found HERE.
Another way to use the wood clothespin would be to decorate it and use it as a recipe card holder. For this sample all we did was paint the clothespin and then cover the sides with pattern paper and embellish it with a scallop circle and button. If you have a favorite holiday recipe to share or want to make a little gift for your cookie exchange this would be the perfect thing! A project sheet for the recipe holder can be found HERE.

14 Days of Love 2011: Day 1

Day 1: Valentines Squished Ornaments - There is no better way to show someone how much you love them, than by making an ornament for them. A great gift for grandparents and one they will cherish for years to come. Or a great way to add a little Valentines decor to your home.
Supplies:- squished ornaments
- printed papers (for backing and matting photos)
-photo
-vinyl saying
-ribbon
-embellishments
-glue runner
-glossy accents
-giga circle punch (3")

Instructions:
1. Punch out circle out of backing paper.
2. Crop photo and mat on coordinating paper and use glue runner to adhere to the circle. If you choose not to use a photo you can apply a sticker to the circle or leave circle plain.
3. Place glossy accents on back side of ornament and place the photo circle or paper circle print side down on the glossy accents. Press evenly over the entire surface of paper to get out any air bubbles.
4. Decorate the front of the ornament with desired embellishments or vinyl.
5. Add ribbon to hang ornament.

- Vinyl/rub-ons
- Ribbon
- Ornaments
Steps:
- Cut or punch out circle from printed paper.
- Using Glossy Accents, adhere your paper circle printed side down on one side of ornament this will be the back. For the photo ornament pictured above, I adhered the photo to the printed paper then adhered the printed paper to the back of the ornament.
- On the front adhere other smaller printed circles and/or embellishments.
- Apply vinyl word or design if desired.
