Urban Soul+Scarf Jewelry.

Once again our Gifts Department has a bunch of new products to share! I will have a few more to share in the coming days, but today I wanted to share a few that were put out last week.

The very popular Urban Life line that we've carried for awhile now, have now released some new varieties of their prints in color!

 

 

In addition we also have some new scarf jewelry - including some decorative scarf ends and jewelry pendants that you can hang from a scarf. You can find these items up by our front registers and in the fashion room at the front of the store.

Decorative Gift Cones.

Today I wanted to share these adorable Decorated Gift Cones that Katie from our Beads & Basics Department created. Using just our standard paper mache unfinished cones and some basic paper and embellishments she was able to create these gorgeous cones in three different themes - the one on the left she decorated with a general spring theme that would be perfect as a May Day Gift Basket, the middle cone is decorated with a teacher/school theme and would be great to hold either a Teacher Appreciation or as an end of the school year gift, and finally the cone on the right Katie decorated with a Mother's Day theme. I think they are all so cute and know a few teachers, neighbors, and a mom that would all love to receive them too!

Card Chaos for Everyday Moments.

A few weeks ago we hosted our second 'big' Card Chaos event at the Moose Lodge. And once again the event was a huge success! We had such a great time with those of you that were able to attend the event.

Those that did attend moved from station to station throughout the day to create the TWENTY cards that you see below! I have included links to the project sheets for each of these cards for those of you that would like to recreate any of these projects.

Celebration Transfers for Embroidery.

Today I want to share a wonderful new book from our Fabrics Department - Celebration Transfer for Embroidery. We are all very excited about this book...and I'm sure you will be too!

From the gorgeous cover, to the detailed stitch instructions, to the crazy amount of amazing patterns, and tips on everything from washing fabric and transferring patterns this book has it all.

There are SO MANY patterns - and they cover a great range - from holiday and seasonal designs to birthday parties, baby items, and owls. There is something for everyone - and the best part is that you can transfer them onto anything you wish for yourself or to create wonderful handmade gifts.

Quilt Time Event.

Over the past few weeks we have been busy working on creating layout ideas and samples with all the new paper lines that have been arriving in our Paper Crafts Department.

Fun new Gift Items.

Today I have a few new items from our gifts department to share!

First up, these 3D bookmarks and posters. There are a bunch of different styles to choose from - and they each have such amazing illustrations! You can find them in front of the Coffee Shop.

Wedding Aisle Update.

Recently our Floral Department has been busy improving our Wedding Aisle (aisle 1)!

They have reset all of the products so they are now sorted by product type and each section now has an easy to find title board above the products. In addition to helping you find the products you are looking for the title board also showcases photos and samples of the pieces you can find of the products below.

If you need anything wedding (or prom or anniversary) related be sure to come and check out our wedding aisle soon!

We also added a section of the David Tutera products to the aisle as well. (You can also still find additional David Tutera products on the front endcap between aisles 1&2.)

And finally, one last NEW items from the Wedding aisle - in addition to the White & Silver Diamond Ribbon, we now have the Black & Silver color combo too!
