Stamp of the Month - June.

Below you will find the Great Impressions Stamp of the Month products for June. (You can find them on the middle endcap between aisles 9&10 in our Paper Crafts Department.) This month's stamps follow a summer/friend theme.

Seasonings + Sprinkles.

Yesterday I shared some of the new decor pieces from our Home Decor department - today I want to share some of the more tasty new products from the department.

We recently received a few new lines of food products that would be perfect for summer meals, treats, and grilling.

In our Wine Room at the front of the store you will find the new Seasonings we have available.

We now have a few different options of flavors for bread dipping. We have a container that holds all four of the flavors (perfect if you want to give them all a try) plus larger containers of each of the flavors individually as well. All you need to do to make the bread dip is add the seasoning to some olive oil and you are set.

These new Seasonings are also great - available in Peppercorn, Spicy Garlic, BBQ Grill, and Sea Salt - they come with a built in grinder at the top of the container so your spices are fresh and flavorful.

Finally, in the Wine Room you will also find some grilling seasonings for meat. We have a four seasoning container available - with a few different flavors fit for a few different meat choices.  And if you want something a little more unique - why not give the Road Kill Grill seasoning a try. This seasoning rub can make any meat taste great!

And if you need something sweet after the dipped bread and grilled dinner - why not make a cake, cupcakes or an ice cream sundae and top it with some of the fun new sprinkles we have available in aisle 2. We have patriotic, barn pals, zoo, sea, and fun shape sprinkles - plus chocolate and ice cream accents too. Each container contains four different types of sprinkles so you get a bit of variety with each one!

Pick up your seasonings and sprinkles soon so you are ready for your next summer weekend or get together!

New in Home Decor.

Today I want to share a few of the new things in our Home Decor department.

First, we have completely moved and changed up our "Game Room" at the front of the store. You will now find it closer to our Floral demo counter - with lots of new and fun products. We have movie themed decor pieces, large playing cards as wall decor, bike accent pieces and sports themed items too.

In our "Up North" room we have some new table runners and matching tea towels. We have them available in a couple different themes and color schemes.

We are also very excited to share a new line of signs from Blue Fox that we just got in at the end of last week. You can find them to your left as you walk in the front door of the store. There are a lot of different options when it comes to size, colors, and sayings.

In addition to the Blue Fox signs, we also have a few other styles of new signs available. Including these saying plaques:

Upcoming Classes.

We still have spots available in a few of the classes we have scheduled for this week!

First, this evening we have our Knitting 101 class scheduled from 6-8:30. In this class you will learn the basics of knitting and finish your own dishcloth. All materials are provided and the cost of the class is only $15.

Tomorrow (June 5th) we have our Basic Copic Class scheduled from 6-8pm. If you want to learn more about using Copic Markers this is the class for you! Join Heather in learning the basics and create the three cards below to practice the skills you learn.

Finally, on Wednesday our four session Tall Cake Class begins. This class will meet every Wednesday from 6-8:30 through the month of June to learn how to assemble and decorate a tiered cake. Take your cake decorating to the next level with Marcia at this class!

June Quilt Block.

Our Quilt Block of the Month for June is now available! You can read more about the story of this months block above. You can find all the supplies for this block (as well as see the completed quilt top) on the front endcap between aisles 25 & 26.

Graduation Projects.

Today I want to share a few Graduation Gift ideas that you can make for your favorite graduate this year!

First, how about decorating one of our Party Buckets with vinyl - using a monogram or a specific school name. These would work great to fill up with gift items for your graduate or would be a fun way to share snacks or beverages at the graduation party itself.

Another fun gift idea is this "For the Graduate" Glass Block. We simply added the vinyl to the front of the glass block, filled it with gold filler (we have lots of colors available), and added some money to the top by attaching them to wood sticks. I'm sure any graduate would love this creative way to say congrats (not to mention some extra cash!).

One more very easy and very quick gift to make would be one of our Tumblers with vinyl from the school of your choice. Applying the vinyl is as simple as applying a sticker to the tumbler. These would be fun to fill up with some treats or even some dollar bills.
