Last Minute Easter ideas...

We are not just a craft store, we have many aisles full of Seasonal and Home Decor too. There is an entire aisle dedicated to Easter including baskets, fillers, candy, flowers and even small stuffed bunnies and toys.

We have many supplies here in the store for you to create your Spring or Easter themed baskets or create beautiful table centerpieces or other projects for your Easter gathering. Look below at the photographs of the store displays and products for some inspiration.

 Brighten up your dinner table with a vase full of flowers.

 We have many different kinds of vases. buckets and containers, any of these can be used as a non traditional Easter Basket.

 Crayola Doodle Scents Markers can be a great filler for those Easter Baskets.

 In our Seasonal Department, we have Easter baskets as well as Easter grass and paper shreds.

 We have many kinds of Easter egg coloring kits, plastic eggs, treat bags and more.

Up at the front of our store across from our registers we have a lot of Easter Candy!

And there is even more Easter Candy on the other side! 

 Of course we can't forget to show you these cute Easter hand soaps! Who can resist these?

 Another idea for Easter Basket goodies are these mini pads, that go well with the different craft mediums kits below. Grab a Pencil or Marker set along with a few paper pads for your children.

In our Outlet Store, we have many "Frozen" themed items on a great clearance price also! Who can resist an Olaf Beanie Baby?

If you walk around our store, you are likely to find a lot of Easter and Spring projects as well!

 

Easter Baskets.

I feel like Easter has surprised me a bit this year! It is earlier on the calendar in terms of date this year, but also the amount of snow we still have on the ground here in central Minnesota and the cold weather has definitely prevented me from being in Spring mode.

The snow and the cold however, does not change the fact that Easter is already next weekend!  As I have been looking around the store the past week I keep seeing so many great basket ideas- and thought I would pull together a couple baskets with just a few of the fun products you can find here at Crafts Direct in case you need some ideas too.

The great thing is that you can find most of these products all displayed together by our front registers. Any pieces shown that aren't on that front display you can find in our Paints&Basics department.

In the 'boy themed' basket I included: a new Beanie Babies Ballz Viking player, a water gun, some travel bingo cards, gardening (or more realistically playing in the dirt) gloves, a foam football, sunglasses, bubbles, a yo-yo, some robin eggs candy, bubble yum bubble gum, and a few other small toys.

In the 'girl themed' basket I have: a picture projector flashlight, a jump rope, a Dora Beanie Baby Ballz, Hello Kitty lip gloss, a small Pearler Bead project kit, a chocolate bunny, a ribbon wand,  and that small pink bag with the clip actually contains a floppy hat that can easily be clipped on a purse or bag and then put back into the bag when you aren't using it.
