Lemonade Art Fair Tomorrow
Tomorrow is the start of the Granite City Days in St. Cloud. One of the festivities taking place is the Lemonade Concert & Art Fair. This is one of my favorite events to attend, you get to check out all the fun things that people are making and drink some fresh squeezed lemonade. It is tomorrow from 11am to 6pm on the SCSU campus. Maybe, I will see you there!

You made that with wax!?
Can you believe that these samples were made using wax! Sarah just finished these two awesome canvases and this tote. She used a product called Hot Wax Art. It's a great way to create a unique textured surface.
And here are a few pendants that were made using the Amate Pendant Trays. Just pick out your favorite paper, stickers & embellishments. Mod Podge them into the trays - then fill with Envirotex, to create a glossy finish.

Homemade For The Holidays
Are you ready for Christmas yet?! It seems to get here earlier each year. This year we are working extra hard to get the new tree themes ready. We are crafting ornaments for some of the trees this year! Homemade For The Holidays is all about giving you great ideas for projects that you can make at home using craft items like paper, clay, foam, pots, sequins, or fabric. Look for the trees & project sheets to be set up in the store by the first week of September, giving you plenty of time to make your own ornaments. Here's a sneak peek at the themes: Monkey'n Around, "Holly" Dazzle, Snowy Forest, & Country Charm.

Make Your Own Knitting Needles!
I came across this tutorial today and fell in love with this project. I was thinking of making some as gifts for the knitters in my life. It would be easy to customize needles for each knitter. And if you're not a knitter you could make some as hair picks. How fun would that be? The best part is that we sell the Casting Resin here at Crafts Direct.
