I have some exciting news. Megan, founder of Above Rubies Studio, will be at Crafts Direct this Saturday, April 2nd, from 1pm to 3pm demoing Viva Decor products. I sure hope you will stop by to meet her, and let her show you what you can all do with the amazing Viva Decor products.

Up Coming Classes

March is winding down but our classes are not. We have a pretty full schedule leading right into the month of April. This week we are offering some classes that you can still get in on. Wednesday evening, March 30th, Nicole will be teaching her fabulous class: Mini Book Club: Enjoy Today. Created from Three Bugs in a Rug line: April Showers. Shown below is the actual book that will be completed in class from front to back.
We are also hosting a Friday Night Scrap on Friday April 1st, no foolin'. We still have openings in that, as well as, our kids class on Saturday, April 2nd. Check out our calendar of events and get more info on these classes and others here.

February Charity of the Month

Thank you to everyone who donated to the American Heart Association during the month of February! Your donations, along with 5% matched by Crafts Direct, totaled $5,000!!! This money will go a long way in helping people build healthier lives, free of cardiovascular decease and stroke!

Alcohol Ink Make & Take this Saturday

Come join us Saturday, March 19th, anytime from 1 to 3pm. As we are offering a free make & take. Stop by the Paper Crafts Demo Counter to make one of these colorful 4x4 tiles using alcohol inks and vinyl.

Free Make -n-Takes

In honor of March: National Craft Month (NCM) we will be offering two free make & takes this Saturday, March 12th, from 1pm to 3pm. The two projects that will be offered, while supplies last are: a 6x6 layout (hanger not included) held at the Paper Crafts demo counter, and a kids foam visor held at the end of aisle 19. We hope you can join us!

Quilt Block of the Month

It has been so much fun to see all the finished blocks come in. Even those people who have never quilted before are turning out some beautiful blocks. Block 3 is ready when you are!

Many of you have asked if we have the bolts of the Krystals and the Jet black all by Michael Miller so we have them all set up for you on an end cap by the demo counter of the Quilt Shop. This months promotional product is a Flexible LED light by Dritz. This light is portable a portable lamp that can either be Freestanding, Clip on, or Mounted with the adhesive strip.

They are usually priced at $16.99 but for the month of March are on special for just $9.99. I think that not only will I pick one up for myself but I'm going to grab a couple more for some Easter baskets for my kids to use as book lights.
