NEW YARNS ARE HERE!!
Hello my fellow yarn lovers!
Spring has finally sprung, and we have new yarns decorating our yarn shelves this spring! We have three new additions to our selection of yarns and I wanted to tell you a bit about them.
First, there is Moda dea Silk'n Wool Blend. This yarn combines the luxury of silk with the quality of Australian wool to make a fabulous yarn you'll want to use again and again. The yarn is a tonal tweed look and has is perfect for hand made fashion and beautiful home decor projects as well. This yarn is 85% Wool 15% Silk at 138 yds/127m per 80 gm ball, and uses a US size 8.
Next, we have added Red Heart® Soft Baby Steps™. This is the wonderfully soft yarn you know and love in fresh, no-dye-lot baby solids. And best of all for those little ones projects: It is easy care with machine wash and dry! Each skein is 256 yards and uses a US size 8 needle.
Finally, we have two new tweed colors of Fishermen's Wool Yarn. This yarn is wonderful! It is authentic 100% pure virgin wool with natural lanolin oil, and is amazingly soft and warm! This yarn is the ideal option for ski and fisherman sweaters; and is equally suitable for hats, scarves, throws, etc. As decadent to knit with as your finished projects will be! This yarn has a 16s x 22r gauge on a US size 9 needle and these new tweeds blend beautifully with the solid colors!
Stop in and see the new additions and check out your old favorites too! We look forward to seeing you soon!

Paddle Ball Art
Remember that old toy: Paddle Ball? Well it's back!
We have Paddle Ball Kits that come with markers so you can color one for yourself.
Feeling a little more creative - why not paint your own design on the paddle. Or cover it with your favorite monster paper and glue on wiggly eyes for added fun.

Bananagrams (the newest celebrity?)
Bananagrams were just mentioned in the current issue of Star Magazine. This is what they said:
Hot Game
"If you like Scrabble, you'll love Bananagrams! The anagram game won Game of the Year award at the 2009 Toy Fair. But unlike Scrabble, it requires no board, paper or pencil, and you can play a round as in little as five minutes! Plus it comes in a small yellow pouch, making it great for traveling."
If this sounds like the game for you - just pick one up next time you're in the store. You'll find them up near the registers (by the monkeys.)

Candy Bar
A popular trend at weddings lately has been to have a Candy Bar available for guests at the reception. Large glass jars & apothecaries are decorated and filled with assorted candies.
Here are a few new sample containers that have just been decorated to inspire you.

Cutting Fabric with your Cricut
Click here for a great video that demonstrates how to cut fabric with your Cricut. We have had a lot of questions about how to do it and now Provo Craft has a video to show us how.
