Spring Project Ideas.

Our Seasonal Department has created some really cute Spring project samples using some of their glass pieces that I wanted to share today. A lot of them utilize vinyl pieces that you can easily add to any piece - so if you see vinyl that you like, remember you can add it to really anything and make it your own.

However, these ideas are so cute you might want to recreate some of them just as they are!!

You can find all of these samples displayed in the store in aisle 5 of the Seasonal department.

St. Patty's Day.

Did you remember that St. Patrick's Day is coming up this Saturday? If you still need to pick up decorations, supplies, crafts, or project pieces you can find them all here at Crafts Direct. We have two endcaps in our Seasonal Department devoted to St. Patrick's Day items - you can find them on the ends of aisles 6&7. Definitely plenty of fun products to pick from:

I also wanted to share a few St. Patrick's Day projects that would be perfect as gifts left by a leprechaun or to give to some of your favorite (Irish or not :) friends.

First, a project Megan created. All that the project requires is one of our chalkboard pots (they are only $1!) and some pipe cleaners and a treat of your choice - I think the Rolo's are perfect! Plus the chalkboard pot will allow you to add a name or your very own decorations to the pot too.

Another project idea is this Rainbow Tube. For this project I simply filled up one of our clear tubes with some Rolo's and Skittles and added some pattern paper to the top, some ribbon and a "Lucky Charm" sticker. So easy - and the end result is adorable!

New in Seasonal.

Among some of the new Easter and St. Patty's day items that our Seasonal department has recently put out they also have a lot of new, fun 'springy' pieces as well.

I love these colored glass bottles. I think they look great as they are or decorated with some of the vinyl pieces we have available to dress them up.

They come in a large and a small size and are offered in four-five colors in each size. You can find the glass bottles in aisle 7.

We also have a wide variety of wind spinners out on the floor now too! They are such a fun way to add some color and spring decor to your yard! You can find them in aisle 6.

New in Gifts.

I have a few new things from our Gifts Department to share with you today.

First our Hair Accessories have moved once again - you can now find an entire front room devoted to all of our Hair Accessory product at the front end of aisle 13. From headbands, to hair binders, flowers, and clips we have a little bit of everything!

We have a few new Nikko home decor pieces displayed by the Coffee Shop:

In one of our front rooms of our Gifts Area (at the front of the store by the registers) we have a new line of products from Demdaco called Story Squares.These are individually sold products that you combine to create your very own "Family" or "House Rules" signs. You can chose the top of the sign from a variety available and then add various squares, rectangles, frames, and mirrors to your liking. There are so many options for what you can do with these pieces!

And finally, we also have some new pieces from Urban Soul, that you can find displayed by the Coffee Shop as well.

Tumblers.

During the month of March our 16oz. Tumblers are on sale for only $3.98 as part of our National Craft Month Ad.

Making this sale even better is the fact that we just received the tumblers in a wide variety of colors and also lots of fun vinyl to add to them as well.

March Quilt Block.

Our Quilt Block of the Month for March is now available! You can read more about the story of this months block above and you can find all the supplies for this block (as well as see the completed quilt top) on the front endcap between aisles 25 & 26.
