Cricut Swarm Registration has Begun!
We had so much fun at our first Cricut Swarm that we have scheduled another one. Unfortunately, it is the same weekend as Little Falls Craft Sale, but it was the only full weekend that was open between now and the end of the year. You can find the Cricut Swarm invite here. Registration did start today but there are still openings. We are looking very forward to the event and hope you will join us.

Day Two of CHA!
It was another fun filled day at CHA as we visited with our Friends at Unity Stamp Co. where Angela and her team are so sweet and fun to work with. They also have the cutest stamps coming out, along with their Store Stampin' Kits, which we will be getting in. We also got the pleasure of meeting Donna Downey at the Unity Booth. We are also looking forward to getting in all the new My Mind's Eye lines, as well as Fancy Pants. It has been a fun time and we look forward to getting back to the store to share our excitement and finds with everyone else.

End of the First Day of CHA
Well we are to the end of our first day at CHA and it has been an exciting one. I started the day off by winning a Cricut expression which you can read more about the new Cricut products here. I really enjoyed the new Extreme Glitter by Plaid, as you could see from the post earlier today. My fav from the show was all the new Doodlebug. They always have the cutest booth, and the cutest projects done up using their new product. Another Cute booth was Jilli-bean Soup, loved their product. Buttons were everywhere, and saw some cute samples made using buttons. And LYB has new chipboard albums and matching die cut paper pad to go with them. They also introduced a line for Valentine's Day. It is a cute line, but just seems crazy since it is still summer. More to come tomorrow :)

CHA Here We Come!
Genna and I have arrived in Orlando and couldn't be more excited. We rented a car, which we call the Clown car. Seeing how we had a hard time fitting our two suitcases and our carry-ons in the back. We had a good laugh.
We made a stop at Wal-mart to stock up on pop and snacks and then headed to the condo. We got settled and ventured off to find the convention center where CHA is taking place and it is just a hop skip and a jump from where we are staying.
We then hit downtown Disney for some good eats at House of Blues and some shopping. I couldn't resist getting my picture with Mr. Potato Head. Off to the hot tub seeing how this is our only free evening before all the festivities begin. Don't worry we will fill you in tomorrow with all the fun stuff we see.

August Class Calendar
You can view the August calendar here or download here. I have been busy working with instructors to get more classes lined up this fall. Our knitting, crochet and Cricut classes will be starting up again in September. I hope to have September's calendar ready to post the first part of August. Pictured is the project that will be completed in Mini Book Club in August. Nicole did a great job designing this one and just wait until you see the mini book she created for September. It is my favorite one yet! Be sure to check out the August calendar to see where Crafts Direct will be hosting free make & takes for your kids, and stop back to check out September's calendar.

Movie Baskets make great gifts
I have a wedding coming up this weekend & noticed that the Bride & Groom had registered for a lot of movies. So, for their gift I picked up a few of the movies on the list along with some microwave popcorn & mini bottles of pop (the mini cans of pop are adorable too.)
Then I stopped by Crafts Direct to pick out a cute basket (they're on sale right now!), some crinkle paper & cellophane to finish the gift. You can easily customize a basket by including their favorite candy or pop & even choose a basket & crinkle based on the couples wedding colors. (Baskets make a great birthday gifts too.)

G is for {great card}
About a month ago we got in a new product called Core Color Cardstock. It is a sandable cardstock that has a "core'dinating" core color instead of a white core.
I thought this was a pretty cool product and was really impressed by this card that Sarah Lynn had made with it! She embossed this picture of a giraffe on the Core Color Cardstock and then sanded the raised areas to expose the lighter tan/yellow colored core. Adorable!

Donny is so close this time!
I thought for sure he was going to get this Gypsy back. Perhaps he needs a partner. The ladies he is after are crafty in more than one way.

Donny K at the Convenience Store
Kate really wants to keep that Gypsy. I don't think Donny is too happy about what happened with this attempt to retrieve the Gypsy from her.

How to Organize Fabric
As I was going through some of the blogs that I follow, I came across this video by Marilyn Bohn on how to organize your fabric. It looks like a great way to store all of your fabric.
