Creepy Crafts - Day 31.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN...and thanks for joining me during the month of October as we counted down 31 Creepy Crafts!

Today I have a shadow box project to share that you can create to show off your favorite Trick-or-Treater in their Halloween costume. Using pattern paper and embellishments from Doodlebug we created the canvas for this piece - then added it to the shadow box and embellished with vinyl and some cotton spider webs.

Wishing you all a fun and safe Halloween today!

Taste of Home Event.

A reminder that we will have a booth at the Taste of Home event scheduled for this Thursday (Nov. 1st) at the St. Cloud Civic Center. We will also be offering a free Make & Take project where we will be creating these snowflake stamped dish towels. We sure hope to see you there! More info on the event can be found here: http://bit.ly/RtQReg

Creepy Crafts - Day 30.

Today I want to share another take on how to decorate one of our glass bottles for Halloween. For this project we used one of the clear glass bottles and then just decorated it with a few pieces of pattern paper, a layered sticker embellishment and some ribbon. Of course though what really makes this piece is the look of the candy corn that fills the bottle! The colors and the finished look makes it a perfect decor piece, but it would be a fun gift to give too!

Creepy Crafts - Day 29.

Today I have two different projects to share with you that both use our "Spooky" vinyl word. The first is a paint can that was simply filled with a piece of pattern paper, then embellished with the vinyl, rhinestones and a spider. The second project is also a very easy one! For this project we just applied the vinyl to the center of a white plate and then added orange rhinestones around the outside of the circle. This would be great as a display piece or to use when you serve some Halloween treats!

Creepy Crafts - Day 28.

Today's craft for our Creepy Craft Countdown is this Jack-O-Lateran glass block. For this project we filled the glass block with lights and metallic filler, then added the Jack-o-Lateran vinyl to the front and wrapped it in a yellow cellophane bag tied at the top with a black ribbon. A project sheet with detailed instructions on how to create your own Pumpkin Glass Block can be found HERE.

Creepy Crafts - Day 27.

Today I want to share with you a few examples of ways you can decorate some of our glass disc ornaments for Halloween. For these particular samples we used combinations of stickers, vinyl, paper, and glitter. Of course you can also use a favorite Halloween photo, fill them with candy or use any other Halloween papers, embellishments, stickers, etc. to decorate.

Creepy Crafts - Day 25.

Today I have another fun take on a project with the single colored Sixlets and vinyl. For these pieces we used our clear tubes - filled them up with the Sixlets candies and then added the cute little vinyl faces and embellishments. Very easy project and would be a great treat for any special Trick or Treaters you have.

Creepy Crafts - Day 24.

If you need a bucket for your Halloween treats, or want to give a special Halloween gift to someone, why not create a decorated paint can bucket of your own. We have paint cans in a variety of shapes and sizes - and lots of ideas on how you can use them! For these projects we used a combination of pattern paper, stickers, ribbon, vinyl and a few other embellishments. (I love the pumpkin with the cheese popcorn!!) Then they are ready to be used Trick-or-Treating or to fill up with special treats before Halloween.
